looks like i've got lots more to go..HAIZ!started reading a new book "change of heart",a nice book..managed to read about 50 pages for now?LOL...i really wanna finish reading 1 of the chinese books i've bought,but i think i focus on my English books first,homework more important..well,gonna meet Jessica later at about 6.15pm for dinner,then we gotta buy our textbooks and head for drum lessons!haha.
okay,now back to taiwan trip;
Third day (27/5/08 Tuesday)
everyone woke up super early,about 5plus am.since i was super tired,i asked si dzing to bath first,teacher called when she went to bath,& she asked if i was okay,she even reminded us that we are left with 5 mins.DAM!
after taht we rushed on our packing & left the room for the lobby,we placed our bags at a room & went to the resturant for breakfast with our tickets.
i only had porridge with pork floss again,didn't dare to eat more.after that we left the place & boarded the bus.LOVE THE BUS,ITS SO COOL!=D
the trip to school was okay,the tour guide told us many things,& i was super excited.btw the tour guide told us that in the sch,they have a day whereby they can wear their homeclothes to sch.COOL LA.
when we reachedthe school,there was a screen that wrote "欢迎新加坡...something something" forgot what was on it..most of them in the bus were like screaming,& i totally have no idea why.LOL!
the school i went;
after that we got off the bus & queue up to meet our buddies..finally met Joanne.=D
at 8am,we went to one of the classroom where by the have a "欢迎会,学校简报，行程安排说明 ， 参观校园".the teachers and principal talked alittle & we got our schedule of the day.we also took a group photo,& its like so dam bloody warm!LOL!after that we went around the school,we were like aliens in the school ,every1 was like looking at us.& they called us "small green people"(in chinese) btw they are actually 1 year younger than us,because they actually have their leaving-secondary school examinations at sec 3,we are actually paired up with a sec 2 buddy..
from 9am-12nn we had lessons.the 1st lesson that i attended was science,the science that they teach is like sec 1 &2 stuff.expected since they are younger than us..the 2nd lesson was chinese lesson,so chim la!(but then quite boring!)the 3rd lesson was English,that lesson was kinda worse for me,but can't blame them,they are born in a chinese educated country.Benjamin bok actually fell asleep in one of the lessons..LOL!
things that i realised/observed；
-the class is very messy,in the sense that the students dare to eat,sleep,sms walk around & chat as they like when there is teacher in the class.(but then they are quite friendly la)
one student gave me this..;
don't quite understand the last part but its okay..=D-they have a steamer at the back of the classroom to steam their 便当,lunch boxes..so dam cool..
steamer;
-they have different dustbins for different types of rubbish & they have to clear their rubbish & clean the classroom themselves.(didn't take a picture,it will be dam disgusting to do so)
-There is actually no sight of cleaners!
-In our country we can't even eat in our own classrooms,they can.
-they also have a sink outside the classroom to wash their hands.
-in between their lessons they have a 10 mins break,quite good ,unlike us,we have to study like siao.HAIZ
-their names & year are sew on their uniform,not like us,we have name tags.
-all their teachers use a microphone to talk,they actually have a microphone in the class
-they have an air-con in the class,so cooling!
-their tables & chairs are made of wood,sit liao so pain.then its like so small that i have problems stretching my legs,what a torture,don't they feel tired?! ;
-their toliets are actually quite dirty,and all are squat!so small..haha..
-they have sleeping period,but i didn't get a chance to sleep,i went to their bandroom with my buddy!=D
back to the topic,after that at 12nn,we went to their basement whereby there is a "small supermarket",where students can buy their lunch & drinks.(forgot to take a picture).we went there to collect what they call healthy meal as lunch.In the end there was so much meat & quite oily,maybe i'm just not used to it & i hate too oily stuff..
they even gave us utensils that are made of metals & we have to use it for every meal we have in sch,& we have to wash it after meals(quite cool) ;
the bandroom is kinda pathetic,its at the basement,its big la,but they use chairs that are found in coffeeshops & they have an area to put bottles for drinking!i realised that they actually have problems carrying their stuff to the stage.its so amazing that they can only hold 2 stands at a go ( in crestwinds its the silver stands)HAHA!then me & shih ching were like saying that we 1 time take about 4 silver stands.LOL.they also have problems bringing the xlyophone from the basement to the hall & they need 4 person to carry it.its like so much smaller & lighter than that in our band.then in the end shih ching gave up on looking at them& she lifted one side of it（she actually replaced 2 person)LOL!it shows how light it is..haha!
band room;
after that we went to the hall for the band performances & 童子军团表演.after that we had so called PE.we did some sort of 18 legged race,quite fun la,but some how there was some unhappy times,but we sort of won the first round!TO BE CONTINUED TOMMORROW!gotta go prepare,i need to meet Jessica soon..then drum lessons..=D
